I am going to purchase the upcoming iPad Pro. it is going to be the 12.9 inch model. What I am looking for is a desk stand. I am looking them over and I need some input. What need is a stand with an adjustable hinged arm, and the iPad clamps into it. which sit on my desktop not clamp on the sides. I am not going to use the Magic keyboard with is I have a nice Q1 Keychron that I will pair with it. This is going to save me some money I went through a bunch of desk stands for my iPhones before I found one.

Something like this, the price is not important.

I have been using this height adjustable desk stand with my M1 12.9, hopefully I can extend the use to the M4. This is one “no neck strain” iPad stand 👌🏽

Check it out on ChargenPro.com

I have learned with the stand that I am using with my iPhone the being able to rotate it between portrait, and landscape is an important feature. In many of them that just sit on a crable you have to pick up and physically move the device from position to position.

Well the AboveTEK Upgraded Desktop Tablet Stand is a real good one but it has one huge problem I didn't even think of. You can't perch the Apple pencil on its magnetic charger place on the iPad.

Just a quick update that this stand is not compatible with the new thin M4 13” due to a different magnet mechanism. However, it can hold the new M2 Air 12.9

ChargenPro am told are working on an M4 13” compatible stand
