iPhone Developer Beta to PB?

Do not install iOS 13 gold master, uninstall the beta profile. When iOS 13 hits the deck, update your iOS using software updates. You should be fine.
Thanks. How do I know if I am not to install iOS 13 gold master? Will the update said it is gold master?
The update will not say gold master. You can get this info from macrumors. Check out that bugs improvements thread pinned at the top.
Based on previous betas you will get more frequent and earlier betas if you stay on the dev path
Public betas are generally released a day or two after the corresponding dev beta especially early on in the beta process. And there have been times when dev betas have been released every week and public betas every two weeks

I must admit I am itching for ios 13 for my iPad pro but I will hold back till the public release.
I never had good experience with iOS devices on beta.
Plus, when final release comes out it’s a simple update.
Whenever I went from PB or Dev to final, I had issues such as: battery heating up, sluggishness, battery drain.
But I am looking for external usb memory support and for the mouse support as well.
I really could use those.
Well 3 months of waiting is a long time....

Why do you say do not install gold master? What's the reason for not doing that? With over the air updates, does it even mater which is the gold master?
For some people who wants to install official iOS 13 release without messing up with profile and downloads, skipping gold master is the way to go. The reason is simple: gold master version will be newer than last developer beta.

Don’t put too High hope on mouse support. It is pretty awful. External storage device support is also limited.

Gold master is usually the same as the official release of the finished software, but released a bit earlier than the official release.
If you are already on a beta, you just update to the gold master, and that's the same as updating to the official release.
If you are not on beta, but eager to get the official release early, you might consider installing the gold master.
Of course if you don't want to bother with profiles and downloading, you don't install any betas or gold master at all, just wait for the official release.
That's how I understand it. I don't understand why anyone would consider skipping a gold master when they are already using a beta.
Yes. This is the main reason why I recommend them to skip gold master. And even though it is generally the same build as official release, being released a few days late might as well be able to escape some deal-breaking bugs if there is any. Plus, some people prefer installing an offical release instead of this gold master thing while also enjoy using beta. I don’t see any problem here.
I would've thought anyone on the dev betas would already be happy installing not-quite-finished software, so just install them all as they come out (including the golden master) and then remove the dev beta profile, reboot the phone, and it should offer the officially-released build.
Of course, a week or two later when 13.1 dev beta comes out you'll realise it'd be easier just to keep the profile installed and run the golden master for a week or two anyway.

In all the time I've been following iOS development, I can only recall once when a bug was found in a gold master and had to be fixed. If people want to skip the gold master and wait for official release, that's their preference, but I don't see a point in recommending others to do that. I've never had any problems with installing gold masters. Even the one time official release was different from the gold master, it was just one more update.
I think you are giving gold master more meaning than it actually has. Skip it, don't skip it, there's no harm or advantage either way.
Why would you want to do that? Public betas are, essentially, the delayed releases of developer betas to the wider audience. So by staying on the developer beta cycle you will just be getting new betas faster.
Today’s public beta is last week Monday’s developer beta. I wouldn’t switch unless you want to wait a day to get the future updates. The developer betas usually come at least a day earlier
Well I took the plunge mainly on my iPad and that is because of mouse support. Yes it's crippled but I like it a lot.
And I do hope that they will add some specific support for Apple Magic Mouse as well and trackpad.
Nevertheless, I only had one issue and that was during the night. When I woke up the iPad was restarted and asked me to log in to Store and all other stuff.
Besides that, not one problem till now, no device getting hot, not weird bugs except Things 3 hanging once in a while.
I hope it keeps behaving the same way.
I will definitely hold back from upgrading my MBP to Catalina and the iPhone to OS 13.

I love the new direction where iPad os is going but it’s too nasty at this point.
Battery gets sucked up pretty fast, apps freeze and sometimes I am having issues with the whole machine restarting on its own.
FaceID is not working always.
But I love the mouse support - is better than I expected.
Dark mode is a blessing in many circumstances.
Safari is great!
Looking forward to the final release when it’s here. I will not jump back on beta train no matter how stable... it’s a shame to kill the battery.

Is the current Public Beta 1 (Mac OS X) the current Developer Beta 2?
