Is the current Public Beta 1 (Mac OS X) the current Developer Beta 2?

Is there a way to tell which DP I am running? It doesn't specifically say under ABOUT THIS MAC

Take notes of your Mac OS X build number and search online. Apple does not usually tell which Beta you are in and whether you are running public beta or not in Mac OS X.

I actually downloaded the DP 2 profile from an online link (off of a major Mac news site). I am just hoping it automatically detects new DP releases and is not just stuck on DP 2 moving forward.

You should be fine, but if for some reason the profile "Stops working"... you will likely find a newer updated one, at the same location you obtained this one.
