That was fun. Wish we had a little more time to do our thing though.

Was nice to meet you both. Good luck for the rest of the process.

Thanks

This is the second wave of recruitment for the Newcastle store which to me means there's bugger all spaces. Think you might have missed it this time mate, but fire off your CV to apple jobs for good measure

but they deffo aint gonna hire hackintosh users....

So how long is untill Apple officially recognise that they are opening a store in Newcastle? I know that they usually leave it late to tell the world about stores opening from Apples own mouth. I'm just wondering because it is now 2 weeks today untill it opens.

I think it's pretty official already tbh. Just heard today that I didn't get it. Argh. Anyone else heard?

Just herd back I didn't get an interview either

Me and role play just don't go together :( Gutted

Nice one, good luck.

I'll maybe give them another shot sometime in the future; only if I've got a better chance of getting it I think
Thanks man. Out of curiousity, were you at the 11am seminar last Tuesday? If so, who were you?

Rejected too. I've sent them an email to ask for a bit more feedback, and just to comment on the way that the role-play was setup and allocated, as in my view it put some people at a clear advantage/disadvantage. Doubt I'll hear back but anyway.

@ the poster who has got through, well done to yourself, but I'd remove your post before it gets quoted, seeing as it's not hard to work out who you were from your username. Can't remember the exact terms of the NDA but I doubt they'd take kindly to you posting on here.

Oh well, for those of you who didn't get another interview, don't feel too bad. Congrats to those who did though. If any of you can get a couple of sneak pictures of thestore before it open I would be very much appreciated.

It's on the Quayside past the swing bridge. Right on the edge of the Tyne.

Seriously? The Hilton side or Sea night club? Madness to be on the quayside especially near the swing bridge. Nasty bars.

Eldon Square let it be so.

I think he means thats where the recruitment place was, not where the store will be.

However if the store is there, itll look nice with all of the old tall town houses, but id prefer eldon square, much easier access from the train station and no big hills to fall down or walk up afterwards

:apple:Mike

The store will be in Eldon Square, and will open a week tomorrow (16th February) along with the rest on the Eldon Square extension where the Apple store will be located.

I'll nip in at some point, intrigued to see who got the jobs to be honest. Would hope that the lad in the superman t-shirt got through as he seemed to have the right kind of persona, there were a couple of others who really lit the role play up too.

group interview sunday

I just got an email to attend a group interview Sunday, should I talk about just mac or that I am also building a PC? I mean in my book I know that being genuine goes a long way, but I don't want to shoot myself in the foot. how mac centric ARE they?
