The Keyboards are $299/350. I almost spit out my coffee. Over 1/3 the ipad cost, a joke. Sorry Apple I was excitied to purchase but not buying a $350 keyboard.
128gb on the base ipad is a good move though for the same $799/999

I got excited when it says compatible with 1st gen iPad Pro 11” so I click buy now and its A$499. I was expecting it to be expensive but that’s insane.

Says compatible with 1st and 2nd gen 11" Pros, with the 2018 11" being the 1st of it's size.

Expensive. Sure it is. However if Apple do come out with better mouse functionality in iOS 14, then I'll be getting this, and whatever the latest 12"+ iPad Pro come September. In a heartbeat.
Not too different from the 2018 iPad Pro models from what I see. The A12Z appears to be basically the same as the A12X. Similar to what they did with the Apple Watch 5 vs the Apple Watch 4. Same chip, different name. Reusing it though was a smart idea. The A12X is already a beast.
That price of that keyboard... YIKES. Instead of raising device pricing, they’re doing it with accessories.
Also, trackpad support... doesn’t look like it’s the same as the current mouse support we have. My guess is iPadOS 14 will bring us closer to the middle of iPad and Mac.

Wow. No way would I ever pay that much. Sticking to my 3rd party solutions. Just like when I wanted the original Mac back in '84 - went for over $6K in today's dollars - too much to swallow.
Yes, the A12Z is definitely the same processoe as A12X, but with WiFi 6 capabilities and new image signal processor.
I'm hoping ALL of them have at least 6 GB RAM. That could be enough for me to buy. Not sure yet though. I don't like the fact you can't get the keyboard yet. I'd prefer to order them together, so I'll wait for the keyboard to come out and for the reviews to see the RAM amount before I buy.
I am glad I held off though on the 2018, since 64 GB is a bit tight, and 256 GB is overkill for me. (I currently have the 2017 iPad Pro 64 GB.)
The A12Z is underwhelming, and I'm sad (and not surprised) that there is no 5G.
The video shows a circle cursor. Dunno if they'll have others.
It comes out with iPadOS 13.4.
That's exactly what's tempting me to wait: 5G and mini-LED, although I want that in a 11" model, and the rumour of mini-LED is so far for the 12.9" model only.
Makes me wonder if SE2/iPhone 9 will just drop like this too in a couple weeks, even without an event and delayed shipping if anything
So I was thinking that the Cursor thing is with this iPad. I thought it was a hardware thing, since Apple is mentioning it here, so it isn't right ? What Apple is saying we have given track pad in the magic keyboard which will take advantage of the iPad OS 14 improvements that it will make to the cursor ? is that what it means ?

They weren’t going to add 5G on an iPad. That’s an iPhone worthy thing to be the first apple product
