They weren’t going to add 5G on an iPad. That’s an iPhone worthy thing to be the first apple product
4G LTE came to the iPad before the iPhone. Wasn't even a Pro model, just the regular iPad.

The main problem with 5G in the iPad Pro was the timing. As other posters here had previously pointed out, because of the late Qualcomm agreement with Apple, they were already having issues getting the 5G chipset implemented in the iPhone in time. I was holding out small hope for 5G in the iPad Pro since it's a less restrictive product in terms of size and chipset power requirements, but no dice.

Rather than a new generation, this update feels like a makeup for iPad Pro 3 in 2020.

+ 128GB base storage
+ WiFi 6 Support
+ Better camera
+ Better mic

- The rest is same (no info on A12Z and RAM). Feels like an SoC update of Apple Watch Series 5

Still, if one is in the market for an iPad Pro, they should buy the new generation anyway.

The new camera is 10MP. On the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, it is 12MP.

So I was thinking that the Cursor thing is with this iPad. I thought it was a hardware thing, since Apple is mentioning it here, so it isn't right ? What Apple is saying we have given track pad in the magic keyboard which will take advantage of the iPad OS 14 improvements that it will make to the cursor ? is that what it means ?

I thought I saw somewhere that the cursor improvements were coming with iOS 14.

If you look at the iPadOS page, they’ve added the cursor thing/mouse support on the features page with asterisks and at the bottom it said coming on 25th March. So I’m assuming all iPads running iPadOS would get mouse/touchpad support with the 13.4 update.

Yeah, he’s saying that there is history of the iPad getting better speeds first. It’s not necessarily iPhone territory.

With how 5G is building up it’s going to be an iPhone selling point. iPhones makes more money then iPads does at this point so it makes sense

Still no signs of Mini-Led Display in the iPad Pro Display. The much hype and hoopla that rumours created ??
I think the mini-LED display while cool technology may be just to immature, either manufacturing yields are not there yet or the cost. Its one thing to use this technology in a tiny display for a watch, and quite another for 11 and 12" tablets - at least that's my guess

This is the second post you've made with a similar sentiment. I'm starting to wonder if you're confusing mini-LED with another technology. Mini-LED's advantage is precisely that it is relatively low cost and already has good yields, because it's not a big jump in technology. In fact, mini-LED leverages existing but upgraded production lines for production, and does not require completely retooled factories like OLED or micro-LED would.

Maybe I am mixing up micro-LED and mini-LED ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That's what I was thinking.

Mini-LED is a reasonable cost incremental technology advancement and is already available in the mainstream TV market.

Micro-LED is a much bigger jump, but effectively is still just vapourware. Don't count on seeing micro-LED in mainstream devices for several years.
