I think the OP is confusing 'charging issues' with battery problems.
I think the OP is confusing 'charging issues' with battery problems.
No, the title specifically says "low battery quality". Pulled a pretty successful straw-man out of the hat, considering we're on page 2.
right, but i don't see what that has to do with my question.
they've never announced a battery device swap for any other product,
and then the ipad has a large amount of battery issues on release.
I think the OP is confusing 'charging issues' with battery problems.
Is that supposed to disprove my post or something? I don't understand what you were trying to accomplish with your reply to me. Your reply doesn't make my post any less relevant. I said I think the OP might be thinking the news about about charging issues means battery problems. Seriously, learn how to follow the context of a discussion. It is a basic language skill.
Where are you hearing about a "large amount of battery issues"? I haven't heard of widespread issues, and mostly I've heard rave reviews of how long the battery lasts.
I don't get what all the charging issues are about, Apple provided a Wall Adapter for charging in every box, PCs don't provide enough power.
I can just imaging Steve Jobs replying to an e-mail "It's not a big deal, just plug it in the wall"
Took a flight yesterday. Watched almost four hours of video on my iPad. Got to the hotel and had 75% of my battery left. I'd say that's amazing.
The problem with this thread isn't the query - but that it appears on a site heavily googled. Now people - who are researching the iPad will see a thread title like this and get concerned there IS a battery issue.
The thread raises doubt that needn't be raised. It's sensationalistic thread title writing. Not to mention it's a leading question.
As in "Mr. Jones - Do you beat your wife often?"
A yes answer is bad. A no answer implies that Mr. Jone beats his wife - even a little. There's no answer that can be given which doesn't make the party "guitly"
I agree the post is very misleading and hope people don't blindly read the post title assume there is a battery problem
As to the answering the question, "Mr. Jones - Do you beat your wife often?" The answer that doesn't make you look guilty is, "No, I have never beaten my wife."
+1 Yet another troll thread on macrumors.
Not to mention the reason apple is getting these long battery lives is because they have non-user replaceable batteries (look at the macbook pro line). Not to mention getting a new iPad would be awesome.
Speaking of that...anyone notice the HP Slate has a "non-user replaceable battery" listed on the specs? hahahaha...Oh...where are the PC Trolls on that issue?
