Hello,

I updated two iPhone 13 Mini to iOS 17.3.1 hoping this would solve an issue that appeared in iOS 16:
With identical settings, the line spacing is significantly different.
The text size is 100% identical but the line distance is not.
Is there a special location where this behaviour can be set?
(Accessibility settings are identical)
Thanks

I presume this is happening outside of just settlings? Check the Dynamic Text settings in Display & Brightness. I was able to recreate your example by reducing this by one notch

Thanks for checking.
Sorry for the non-English screenshots btw.
Unfortunately, every setting is identical.
So are the letters themselves.
It is just the line spacing that is much farther on the right, resulting in less text/items to be displayed.

What about "display zoom" in "display and brightness"?
One might have larger text and the other default

Check your languages (Settings -> General -> Language & Region). Having different types of languages can affect the line spacing for some reason.
OMG!
Although both iPhones were set to German / Germany, one device had ALL possible languages pre-loaded and available to be moved to the top.
Once I removed all of those unnecessary, inactive ones, the iPhone did a restart et voilà, the line spacing is finally correct.
Thanks so much @iStorm , never would I have found the cause without your hint!
