I am willing to sell the item for $ 1000 US. The item is new in box, contain the display and have 2 years warranty.I will ship after the payment and the shipping is free.We will deal through eBay so if you decide to buy them you can email me right now your following details which I will need for starting the transaction with eBay:
FULL NAME:
ADDRESS:
CITY:
ZIP CODE:
COUNTRY:
And ebay will email you the invoice of our transaction and further details and instructions
I will be waiting for your prompt reply.
Thanks

thats usd 1000 for the display alone or both items?

Both items.

why the low price?

I have to sell atleast 5 units per week to buy it at this price.
so...I'm selling a number of 10-15 units per week.
ths is the reason that I make profit with this price

can you get a 2.5GHz Quad-core PowerPC G5 with the QUADRO FX 4500 512MB SDRAM ?

QUADRO FX 4500 512MB SDRAM
Apple Cinema HD Display (30" flat panel)
16x SuperDrive DL (DVD+R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)

and the cinema hd display 30" flat panel

for usd $1000?

Yes sir.

man i must ask you to tell me some more about your low prices
they are disturbingly low...

Sir this are my prices.Let me know if you are really interested because I have many ebayers, also in shortly time I will stop the auction.
Let me know.....

of course i'm interested but i have to be sure...
besides you will run other auctions like this in the future right?

Yes.
Let me know.....

there are many offers like this in ebay... some from europe...
the offer extreme low prices, worldwide free shiping, secure transactions etc...

so...

what do you think?
anybody knows anything about this?

pd: check my website! www.espiralrojo.cl

Tell him the 30'' is too big, and ask him for an Apple cinema display with the new 28'' screen. And a Triple Processer Powermac.

Maybe ask for $200 discount, and tell him you're willing to pay now.

$5 gets you $10 that he'll say "yes it is no problem, please be willing to send me your credit card number."

:)

they use paypal

they dont ask for credit card numbers.. but some of them ask for ebay id...

There are usually a few sure fire ways to detect these Mac EBay scams (in addition to the completely unrealistic prices):

1. The product category for the listing is totally unrelated (basket weaving, children's books, etc.) I guess they escape detection a little faster this way.

2. They instruct in the auction to email them with questions and to order, and to not use the regular 'Ask seller a question' link. Typically this is because they have hijacked someone else's account.

3. In addition to these wonderful prices, they say they have multiple units for sale at the great price.

4. They often don't take Paypal, only Western Union which they say is somehow guaranteed (when it really isn't.)

419??

I think that's the number of the Nigerian Law that outlaws certain types of fraud.....basically you get asked to send money in order to pay "expenses" in order to expedite some transaction that turns out to be phoney

however this deal just sounds like the usual ebay scam where you make a payment and never hear from them again. even if you pay with paypal, they can withdraw the cash and vanish and then you're out your money

well thats it..

i was going to risk usd500 to satisfy my curiosity.. but my eyes are open now...
thanks a lot guys... you rock

One of these has been removed already.

I've sent the british one an email asking for the buyitnow price as I'm based near him. If he gives a reasonable price, I might ask if he minds me picking it up in person - and that I want to test it before I buy it. Will see if he (or she) runs then.

The CargoLargo one seems legit. (30,000+ feedback, 2000+ in the last month)

i bid $315 one of these. Overnight I got an "ebay auction cancelled due to sellers account being compromised" email, as well as an email from the seller saying The computer would be $1000, with the shipping handled by him. I'd just avoid it altogether. Do people normally have their aution in GBP when they are in america?

16GB 533 DDR2 ECC SDRAM- 8x2GB
500GB Serial ATA - 7200rpm
QUADRO FX 4500 512MB SDRAM
Apple Cinema HD Display (30" flat panel)
16x SuperDrive DL (DVD+R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)

A:$1000

That is pure gold!:D

My reply

Dear M.Mark,

Thanks for your lovely email. Yes I'm very interested. I saw from your listing that you're based in Poole, England.

What luck, I live near there! I'm happy to bring payment! and pick up from you the computer! (Apple PowerMac G5 Triple Processor, with Apple 28" Cinema display)

Do you accept cash or cheque?

Many thanks,

RedTomato
