even after updating to 10.7.1
the problem with this annoying message
"reopen windows when logging back in" persists
Lion is Apples Vista
too many annoying useless features
Trust me, Lion is awesome. I WAS a PC user for 12 years and switched to Mac because of crap like Vista. Although there's a few small annoyances with Lion, it rules over any MS OS, even 7.
Apparently they didn't know about this issue. The guy I talked to let one of the senior advisors know about the issue so hopefully it will be fixed soon![]()

I've got a feeling its working just as Apple intended, they seem to really want to push this Resume tripe down our throats.

Open System preferences>General, and uncheck a box at the bottom "restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps".
This comes from http://osxdaily.com/2011/07/18/disable-mac-os-x-lion-resume-window-restore/
To be honest, I have pretty much gotten used to that popup. Unchecking the box almost feels like 2nd nature now.![]()
This works for me too.
Thanks...
a fix that involves a web site address? No thanks.
