Is there still a way to entirely disable tabs in Safari? Recently I've been very drawn to using many windows. I even hid the toolbar in Finder to get the behavior of folders opening in new windows. Is there some way I can disable tabs in Safari?

I like each page to be "in its own window", so...
I don't use tabs -- at all.
I've become morally opposed to them...😎

I turned off ALL "tab options" in settings.
When I go to open a link, I RIGHT click on it and choose "open link in new window".
If I make a mistake and open a tab, I don't even look at it -- I close it immediately.

Been doing this for MANY years.
Second nature to me now.
Not going to be changing in the future.

My opinion only.
Others will disagree.
Some will disagree vehemently...

Does this cause your list of open Safari windows at the bottom of the Windows menu to reach some sort of limit?
That this seems a reasonable question to ask is a big part of why I hate tabs lol. Tabs create bad habits, imho, like leaving an unreasonable number of pages open that are not actually contributing positively to anything.

Interesting, thanks for the tip. I like this idea. I'll be using it. 👍
