I finally got my pink band in today and I gotta say I am disappointed. Not sure how they call this pink. It's a pretty ugly pink in person.

Gonna leave it in the box for a few days to decide if I am returning it or not.

It's a weird pink. My favorite of the brightly-colored sport bands is the blue one. It's nicer in person than online.

In the pictures I've seen, it looks more like a strange shade of red. Not surprised that you're disappointed...

Ya I didn't think it looked that good either. I went with the white band.

I like it! But I'm a guy and I didn't want pink. It's more of a coral or salmon color. And no I don't wear one. My wife has it.
Coral! That's it!

I noticed in stores that it's not the same pink as the 5c. Or maybe it was the lighting in there.

If I'm not mistaken ( I haven't seen the pink band in person) it's the same "pink" color that the iPad Smart Cover is, which isn't really pink. My daughter was really disappointed when she went to get that iPad cover.

Mine will be delivered tomorrow. Can't wait to rock it

A woman at work has one. Her favorite color is pink. You're right, it's a dreadful shade that certainly doesn't make pink look good. Another illustration of how misleading photos can be. It's not so much a reflection on Apple as it is regarding how many shades their are of various colors.

I think apple made it a coral pink on purpose to be more gender neutral. If it were a super girly pink it'd be tough for a man to confidently wear it

Second guessing in favor of Apple is what the Apple excuse makers do.

Bright vibrant true pink is worn by self confident men without hesitation. One who is their own person wears what they like without a second thought about others judgements.

I'm not second guessing in favour of anyone. I'll save my final judgement of the band until tomorrow when I receive it. As a man I'd personally have no problem wearing a bright pink band but how many males in the general population would?

I think the pictures of a lot bands are very misleading and it sounds like that's the case with the pink band as well. I got the stone leather loop and it's a lot darker than what you see on the website. And from pictures I've seen of the "bright" blue leather loop, it's anything but bright. I imagine some people will be just as happy, but it still makes it hard to know what to order.

The green band is darker than it looks in the site - it looks like a flourescent yellow/green online but it's actually kind of kermit-colored.

TOTALLY spot on color!

I am a dude and a fan of pink, hence the reason I bought it. It makes me giggle when people get uncomfortable about a color.

Pics or it didn't happen.. Haven't seen one in the wild on a wrist.

I was gonna say the same thing. I thought it was going to be a sort of electric green/yellow, which sounds pretty awesome to me, but then I saw it in person and I was not a fan.

Is it the same shade of pink as the iPhone 6/6S silicone case??

I like all shades of pink. Just some more than others #

I've had to shop for a lot of sporting goods lately. I've noticed this salmon color is on a lot of trim on sportswear and running shoes, as are the other Apple Sport colors. I think Apple was trying to match the color trends in sportswear, mainly. If so, they left out true pink and purple and fuchsia and too many shades of blue/aqua.
