Of course, you could compromise, lost the extra three inches and make do with the 21" version!

The more research I do, the more I'm tempted. The Apple and Dell screens seem to be plagued by really bad colour balance issues, uneven backlighting as well as loads of other problems. The thing is, I definitely don't need a perfect colour balance, or pro specs, I just want a good monitor that will last and last. Despite the huge price, the 24" is more appealing, because I can just get the resolution of the 21" by getting an iMac.

For those with the Eizos, how are they with video and games, i.e. lag and ghosting? Also, have they been dead pixel free - I would definitely not accept something that expensive with any flaws.

Anyone want to buy a kidney?.....
