xnu shares a lot of code with freebsd, not net or openbsd. either way, all three of them have had "security breaks" in the past, but are some of the most secure by default OSs in existence.

what risks are brought to my mac when using vmware fusion or parallels to run vista. are the risks only brought to the virtual machine? I would still do all of my internet browsing on the mac
