Just borked my phone. Reboot loop. Hard resets don't fix. If anyone knows how to revert or fix this pllleeeaasse let me know.

I'm in same boat, except iPad. Luckily, I did that before my phone.

I can enter safe mode (hold volume up when booting) on the iPad, but normal booting gets me nowhere.

So that's what it was. You can hold volume up on boot to bypass mobile substrate and at least get the phone running. Still trying to figure out workaround. Restore from old pkgbackup or uninstall or find old deb file seem likely choices.

Ended up uninstalling it which also removed mywi. Will wait for an update to fix it. Hope other people find this topic.

What do I need to uninstall specifically? Can't seem to find anything relating specifically to libstatusbar.

do what he said and uninstall it

Hit the button that says simple in the corner to switch to expert then find libstatusbar and choose to uninstall it.

Thank god for safe mode. Good tip. Been jbing for yrs didn't know that. An uninstall works. I looked for previous deb but couldn't find. Side note Cydia or the repos should provide a downgrade option for situations like this.

No but it messed up my brightness settings...it starts dark and I need every time to go to settings and then it is ok.

Is that just after a respring? Switching on/off (sleep) then back usually resolves that till the next respring.

libstatusbar just updated again to 0.9.6.1-2...anyone wanna take one for the team and try it out?

Libststusbar updated but now after a reboot phone keeps going into safe mode. Sigh.

Borked my phone too.

Restoring now.

I'm new to Jailbreaking. Does this sort of thing happen often? If so, I don't think the benefits outweigh restoring every couple of weeks.

I did...reboot...seems to be ok...but I have not had problems with the first update...so does it count? Iphone 5 btw...

But my iphone seems slower...how do I check that?

Just installed. Did the respring and all was good so I rebooted and everything works fine.
