Do RSS feeds still exist? What’s the best way to have a specific news topic delivered to me instead of me waking up every morning and perusing sites?

I’m a big fan of Reeder as an RSS reader application on iOS/macOS. It’s intuitive and distraction free - letting me focus on the content. Reeder includes support for iCloud Feeds - syncing your added RSS feeds, read and starred status across devices. Alternately, it can use all of the popular RSS providers out there - Feedly, InoReader, etc..

I’m currently using it with InoReader - as I’m leveraging some of InoReader Pro’s more advanced features, like feeds based off Newletters, and web feeds based off of sites that don’t support RSS directly.
