Oh, god I hate our family's A790! Not only would Sprint not give us the SIM card, but it's a HUGE phone with terrible sounds! I hate the noises it makes on that stupid keypad! I hate that phone with a passion.

Oh, and this reminds me of another brand I've lost respect for: Sprint.

While we still buy Sprint products, we just don't really trust them anymore and the family plans we have on it, we think we might switch all of those lines when their contracts go out. We had a terrible time trying to get international phones, and the Sprint Store lady pulled just about every string and found a way for it all to work and it caused my mom to end up with an extra family plan with two lines we never use.

computers- custom made or apple
gaming- nintendo
multimedia stuffs (tv's and players)- sony
mobile phones- motorola all the way (and soon apple once they release taht darn thing)

Kinda. There are at least some brands that I tend to avoid after some bad experience. :)

Computers: Apple
Disc burners: Pioneer
Portable CD players (not that I'd buy one now, but in the past): Panasonic
Digital cameras: Canon
Flash media: SanDisk
Cell phones: Sony Ericsson
Console gaming: Nintendo
TVs: avoid Toshiba
Cars: Toyota, Honda... avoid Ford
Rice cookers: Zojirushi :D
Shoes: Airwalk (because I used to be very very picky about shoes and they were the only brand that fit comfortably, and I still like 'em)
Air travel: avoid Air Canada (at any cost)

Cotton swabs - Q-Tip

Seriously, have you tried the other brands?? They are crap!!! Try using a "store brand" cotton swab to do anything, they bend, the cotton falls off, etc. Q-tip is amazing. :D
My mother bought a box of some cheapo ones with the plastic stick. They sucked massive amounts of ass.

Anyways:
Computer: Apple (or self-made if I ever do that)
Phone: Sony Ericsson
Car: Subaru
Games: Nintendo (but Microsoft has me addicted to Forza Motorsport ;))

Other stuff, I'll give brands with previous good experiences a small head start, but otherwise it's price/design/features (in whatever order I want).

Not really. If i like the look of the clothes, i buy them. However, there are certain brands that i avoid like GAP.

Not particularly. I like my Apple stuff but that's about it. Most of my electronics are different brands (Arcam DVD player, Sony TV, Microsoft games console). I have very little interest in clothes and am not a slave to labels (in fact, I actively avoid them). The seven cars I have owned have belonged to six different manufacturers.
