Do you create a new Apple ID every few years/when you get a new iPhone?

Even the thought of changing my Apple ID makes me anxious.

You should check out Apple’s Family Sharing feature, which allows you to share your purchase history (including music & subscriptions) with up to 5 other members of your family for free. One person has to be the gatekeeper, to add/delete people.
