Do you find you use your laptop less now that you have your iPhone?

If you're browsing the net do you ever choose to use your iPhone over your computer?

No

No

Maybe a tiny but.

If it is for a sports score or info I can get from a app quick like "Chase" or "IMDB" then I will use my phone rather then open the macbook but for real web searches I still use the macbook.

Actually i do. I can check most of the things i do with my laptop now with my iphone. Don't get me wrong i still use my computer all the time, but less now that i can do most of that stuff without having to get off the couch or while im on campus :p

I don't own a laptop. However, I was planning on buying one for university. Now that I got an iPhone I don't feel the need to buy a laptop to complement my mac pro. I find the phone does most things I need it too while on the go. Such as trading stocks, calendar, movie info, directions, email, as well as the odd RDP connection.

No.

And only if I don't have my laptop with me (or I do have my laptop, but didn't bring my data card).

I think that iPhone cannot replace laptop. You can use to check email of see the latest RSS news. But when you need to browse something in the internet you need a big screen device, and perhaps flash

Maybe a TabletPC could really replace a laptop, i'm not totally sure though.

So, the answer is, NO :)

Yes and yes. I am not saying I don't use my laptop, just that there are frequently times when I would have pulled out my laptop to google something or check a score or email but now my first reach is for my iPhone. Some nights I don't even take my laptop out of its bag. There are also places and times where in the past I would have toted my laptop with but now can rely on my iPhone to keep me connected.

I'd have to say yes iPhone has taken over email, news and quick stuff. Laptop is basically use for photography, and websurfing.

Well I don't currently have a laptop, but my iphone has removed all desire to get one again. And yes, I sometimes use the iphone when I could use my imac, though not often.

Not really. I mean, for the quick check of something, I pull out my phone. But if I'm showing something to another person, or browsing on the couch....it's the laptop.

But I still use my laptop more than my phone (Other than talking/texting), for computing needs.

Desktop>>>>>Laptop>>>>>iPhone.

No.... I find that I still use my laptop the same, the only difference is now I don't get anything done at work! We can't bring laptops but no one has said anything about iPhones! :D

Since I have all my email accounts on my 3GS, I tend to check them only on the phone since it's with me all day whereas my MBP sits at home alone.

I usually clean up my computer email about once a week.

Browsing? At home always MBP, but away from home, obviously 3GS.

Definitely Yes. I don't have to turn my notebook on to check emails. Also, I spend less time with my PSP as well.

No. I still use my laptop just the same, I'm just online more often now.

Nothing can replace a larger screen (there's no replacement for displacement in this case)
