I have two backups, the original iPhone and the 3G. :)

I was looking at getting a cheapo BB on eBay. But I found an original iPhone on the cheap, so I went for that. Plus, I know I can just load the apps I really need on the original iPhone when I'm at the beach, or if my iPhone were to be stolen and/or lost.

Kind of

I still have my Motorola V635 from before I got my first iPhone. I've used it a couple times while the iPhone was being repaired.

I have an old BB Pearl... But the software (even after restoring) always tends to crap out eventually. Last year, I almost missed a midterm because the phone decided to get some stupid java error, thus not allowing my alarm clock to go off

I decided to get what I can for it now, since it's not a reliable phone anyway. Gazelle is giving me $30 for it. Not bad I think for this unreliable POS

Luckily I have a backup. Had 2 until a week ago, when I loaned my dumbphone. Then, last week I dropped my iPhone, and since then Wi-Fi only works if real close to AP, and the GPS doesn't seem to work. Just the triangulation method.

I get an echo on 3G voice, but not on 2G voice, but since my Treo 750 is having that now too, I assume a coincidental network problem.

At this point, I don't know how long I can trust my phone :(

I'm not eligible for a subsidized phone until late July. Which, since it is after Apple may have an upgraded phone, may mean I upgrade this cycle.

I do and I tried to use it for a day, I about **** myself it was annoying. But it's a backup and will work in a pinch.

In 3 months I'll have a backup 3g to my 4g. Going to just use it for skype and international sims when I travel

I have my 32gig 3GS as my main phone, and in case anything ever happens to that, I still have my trusty old 4gig iPhone :)

I still love the old 4gig - it's terribly small capacity-wise, but it's still an incredibly beautiful phone, even today. The little guy will be turning three this September :)
