Or do you switch it off so it lasts you days and days.. I know some dont keep it on when not using it as it isn't used like a phone.

My nexus 7 lasts almost 2 weeks in standby. I left it at my friends house for a week and half a few weeks ago and it still had 30% left. If your using an android tablet going to the wifi settings and set keep wifi awake to only when plugged in. Booting the tablet up actually uses a lot more battery than this setup.

I leave my mini on all the time - here's a pic of my usage:

Better than my note 8.0

Get roughly 3-4 days total.. With maybe 4-5 hours screen time

Thought keeping wifi on at all times saves battery wise.. For phone and Tablet

Only on phones or cellular tablets. On WiFi only tablets its better off.

Never even considered turning mine off. I might in a situation where I would need to preserve as much battery life like if I was stranded on an island or something :p

iPad never gets turned off. I throw it in a sleeve and put it on the shelf, and then charge it when it needs it, which is sometimes days later since I only use the iPad for 2 - 3 hours a night most nights.

I die a little inside when I'm at my Grandparents or Parents house. I bought them both iPads for Christmas.

After they've done with any task they turn them off and put them away.

My mother turns off her tv set top box when not using it as she doesn't want to waste the electricity. She then wonders why none of her programs have been recorded!

I turn mine off using the "all off" button, but it auto comes on to record a show and shuts off when it is done recording. I wonder if many people do not know this.

Never shut down my iPad unless it needs a reboot which I'm not sure counts. I just charge it when needed. Usually every week or two.

I once had my iPad 3rd Generation on for 100 days straight without a reboot on 5.1.1 according to the Activity Monitor app. Everything was still smooth as butter. iOS is great at managing memory by itself.

Thanks for the tip!

I use my iPad almost daily for work so I can't say that it lasts me a week or so on end. But I can say that the battery life is excellent, and I see no real battery drain by leaving it on all the time.

Wow thanks for the information. It made a tremendous difference overnight on mine. I will be interested to see how it goes today

Yeah going to trial it when fully charged and see how many more days I get than when I had wifi on at all times.
