I'll turn it off every year or so. :)

I keep it on always unless the battery is dead. I do sometimes turn the WiFi off when I'm not using it to save battery though.

I always keep it on. I don't see the point in switching it off only to have to switch it on when I want to use it. I use my tablets on a daily basis. My ipad mini lasts for days on a single charge anyway. The last charge went for 8 days. My galaxy tab can last a few days too.

Wifi off will always save battery, it's just on devices that use cellular data, turning off wifi prob. makes them fall back on cell network, which obv uses more battery than wifi.

Indeed it has

So far with 60 percent l left my battery life is already

3 days 6 hours!

I usually keep mine on standby unless there is a reason I need to conserve battery power; in which case ill just switch it off to restart it real quick.

What a difference it makes switching wifi off when asleep

I die a little inside when I'm at my Grandparents or Parents house. I bought them both iPads for Christmas.

After they've done with any task they turn them off and put them away.
what's wrong with that?

i do the same with my ipad. Actually i turn off all my electronics if a don't use them. ipad, ipod, TV, camera, mac, audio system, etc. Except the iphone.
Why waste electricity?

Why waste electricity?

Because if you charged your iPad every day for a year, it'd cost roughly £1.66 in electricity. I wouldn't be surprised if it used more power to boot up their iPad 8 times a day for 20 minutes than if they just let it hibernate.

If I forget to turn them off, they are on. I leave them on during the day or when using them. At night when I sleep I turn off unneeded devices because of studies on how they are not sure about the future long term impacts of wifi radiation. I have a combination of over maybe 10-15 devices in the house and the less emission I'm exposed to is probably better in the long run (better safe than sorry).

well, i keep it on when i'm not using it, i have a note 8 and it offers about 1.5-2 weeks this way.
