For me the main issue with the Smart Keyboard Folio is lappability, it's just unusable contrary to the old Smart Keyboard for lightning devices. Magic Keyboard is not perfect but definitely usable on my lap.
Other that that (but that's a big deal for me), it's a joy for portability compared to the Magic Keyboard.
