These notifications are the last good looking notifications on iOS. Since iOS 7, notifications have been garbage.

No, there's not going to be 10.4 and there will be no overhaul of notifications prior to 11, and maybe not even then.
Yes there is going to be a 10.4, and there most likely is going to be a notification overhaul with iOS 11.

I am thinking about jumping ship and switching to Android. I LOVE my iPhone 7 Plus, but the one thing that I can not stand is how unreliable the notifications are on iOS 10. There is a limit to how many times an app can remind you. Half the time when I clear one notification from an app, it clears ALL the notifications from that app. So reminders for my to do app are useless. I tried out an Android and I could not believe the difference. The notifications actually worked and didn't disappear until I acted on them.

Do you think there is any chance Apple will fix notifications in iOS 11? Or do you think Apple even cares? I want to stay with Apple, but notifications are a deal breaker for me. I feel like I can't rely on my phone!!
why do you think anyone here would know anything about apple? this isn't an official apple PR forum.

iOS 11 would not be released before iPhone 8 (in September)
Then what would happen after 10.3.2 is released - may be in 1-2 weeks.

No. iOS 11 will most certainly be announced in wwdc in June, a beta will be out and iOS 10 development will almost stop.

So that means, we can hope for some respite in June.
And to solve our existing problems, we start using iOS 11 beta then.
[doublepost=1493228589][/doublepost]Another clarification- if 10.3.2 gets released on 1 May, when would be 10.4 released. Perhaps in June 2017.
Even if Beta of iOS 11 is in June, what will happen till October 2017.

I don't think so
Because with every new major iOS version, a LOT of bugs will be introduced. So the most bug free iOS will be the latest non beta version.

I would say we will have several betas (6 to 8 betas) from June to September, as it has been the case for years.

If you read my question again, I asked if anyone thought Apple would fix the notifications. I was asking for opinions because I think it's fun to discuss Apple topics. Isn't that the point of a discussion board?

wow it's funny how perspective can differ from one person to another. I thought Android notifications were horrible and unbearable and that Apple got it right. Last year when I had a note 7 I absolutely hated notifications and was one of the things I appreciated most when I came back to the iPhone.

It is funny how perspective differs. From my perspective, if a notification disappears before I can act on it and becomes "lost", then the notifcation was worthless!! :)
