I think it's highly unlikely the 3GS will see iOS 6.

3GS is still being sold. and IOS5 wasn't gimped at all on 3GS in fact it runs pretty smoothly. So my prediction is a gimped down iOS6 or the full thing but 3GS will get iOS6.
