Okay so ive been looking around at the 3g iphone pictures and it looks really nice, but ive heard people say it looks very feminine, who else here thinks so? I also want one because of less visible scratches but its still pretty sexy.

it does look pretty girly. but being a gay male i don't mind it.
plus my SWAROVSKI iPhone case if WAYYYYYYY more girly ... but its a show stopper for sure.

I think it's racist. 
I don't really care for either, but it looks about as feminine as the umpteen million white iPods that have been sold this decade.
I like my svelte aluminum one and hope they'll offer actual colors soon. If you're going to have options, give me a red or blue one.

Yeah I would buy a (RED) iPhone, that would be a cool color.

Really, like Apple makes any "Manly" computers, iPods, or phones (the Mac Pro is as close as you get there - and even it doesn't scream I'm a man and don't give a crap).
Come on, like real men would have even uttered the word iPhone, iPod, or iMac back in the 80's (or 70's and you'd have really cleared a room in the 50's and 60's). Just uttering such words would have given serious doubt to your masculinity.
And, um, if you want to look tough, try being a man and go somewhere with out a gadget attached to you. Sorry, but I've never seen a man whip out a portable electronic gadget and thought "man, he sure is tough looking".

If you want to look tough, buy something that says I don't care (something under $30). Don't buy it a pocket protector, and make sure you handle it like it's a worthless piece of crap that you'd just assume lose rather than carry the piece of junk around. Then you might pull off manly.

I'm a little confused by apple's strategy. First we get the blacktax on the macbook. But I can't understand why the white only comes in the high end model, sort of a white tax.
Whatever apple is doing it works... I bought the black macbook and am looking forward to owning a white iPhone.... damn they're good.

Yes, who cares. Well, that is unless you're relying on your phone to get a woman. But, if that's the case, she'll just think your a geek and move on.
white is a "cleaner" look. personally, being a guy, it looks semi-feminine to me, but in the end, it's personal preference... who knows,i might end up getting a white one after seen it in person
