I think people need to understand that no other company could've made the iPhone 5 or something similar to compete...it's way beyond Samsung's engineering skills.

Or the fact that Samsung designs their phones to cater to the local markets (Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, etc) and they prefer larger phones.
 
I think Samsung should not have named it a Galaxy S-anything. The Galaxy S name should be reserved for their flagship phone. I was excited about this mini until I saw the specs, namely the 480x800 entry level resolution screen. They just diluted their flagship line.
