I have just switched to Firefox so to try it again after many years. I know it's slower than Chrome, but if it dies it's gonna be bad for web standards. Are you using it? If yes do you notice the speed difference with Chrome on daily basis?
I use it on my work machine. Doesn’t seem significantly slower than Chrome. Maybe on benchmarks but not in day to day usage.

You must browse like 3 websites regularly. Clearly never used a single web app or modern web technology.
Nope and Firefox works just fine for those things. The only problems I have are when sites use Chrome beta features without any browser checks. Lazy devs.

So calling either the browser developers or application developers lazy is pretty mean-spirited. It certainly is a value judgement and, in the case, being made completely in the dark. We have no idea of the constraints impacting the developers on both sides of the issue.

If an application developer is delivering an internal application where they can control their user base and the software installed on the users' machines, then budgetary constraints might make it reasonable to limit the browser used. If the application is a public facing one, then it's a very strange decision to rule out a particular browser. But, I can't assert it's lazy.

It's pretty offensive to hear someone calling Mozilla developers lazy. It's a non-profit and has far fewer resources than the gooey company. And, they're not on board with gooey's world domination strategy.

Speaking of Firefox-waterfox, what is the benefit of an account besides syncing with devices?
I'm thinking of deleting mine today
as other non-apple things.
