The thing that really makes stage manager useless for me is that it changes the window size when stage manager is disabled. If it would retain the positioning and size, then there are a lot of circumstances where I’d switch it on. But it basically just leaves the standard window manager a complete mess.

Anyway I doubt they’re going to substantially change it at this point so I’ve written it off.

I look forward to using it when I get a new iPad, but I always forget that it's on Mac. Tried it for a bit, didn't seem awfully useful. Maybe when I'm writing a big journal article with lots of other apps open?
It feels like a feature made for iPad and then lazily ported to macOS. However I feel it improves multitasking on iPad by leaps and bounds.

Nope. I find Mission Control far more usable and effective when multitasking with large numbers of apps. Whether I do the three finger swipe up, or the ctrl-uparrow, it's super fast/smooth.

Also, tip for those that may not know, ctrl-downarrow will do a Mission Control of just the app that is currently in focus. Great for picking which browser window you want to jump to immediately, for example.

Yes, I like Stage Manager. I like the fast switching between applications.

I also stuck Mission Control into one of the hot corners (bottom right, if anyone cares) when using a mouse more useful for me.
