Does anybody have a scansnap sv600?

I have a number of antique magazines (A3 sized pages, though it may be closer to "Cloche", as the magazines are French.) How does it work with the mac?

Sorry to restart this thread, but thought you may like to know about this...

HyMag http://www.hymag.com (previously Hyman Archive http://www.hymanarchive.com), is a physical magazine archive and database project, who are taking in donations and scanning magazines from worldwide sources.

So if you don't want them, may be an idea for these. ;-)

The earliest editions are a couple of National Geographics from the 1920s. How do Hyman and Turk define popular culture and decide which publications to include? To Hyman, it’s not just about fashion, music and film, but goes deeper, into comic strips, creativity, art and more.

Most of my stuff is from 30 years earlier.

Yeah, they want them too then, lol!

EDIT:
Should also add here a link re. the Nuance software that ix1500 machines now come bundled with:

I know it is a revival thread but it could be of use and I haven't seen it mentioned yet. I use Paperless by Mariner, and also in combination with a ScanSnap scanner. I find it much more logical to use than DevonThink.

I use Scansnap i1300, ScanSnap Home, and Evernote for ingesting and managing my documents. I haven't had any occurrences where a Mac update broke my scanning software. It's been solid for 5ish years.
