I am really struggling to find a use for Siri on my Mac, does anyone else feel the same ?
+1. Neither on my Mac nor on my iPhone.I don't even use Siri on my iPhone, there's no way I'm turning her on on my Mac.
How is that easier than just right clicking for spelling? You're fingers are already at the keyboard and mouse, no?I use it all the time for spelling and simple questions. Use it more on Mac than on iPhone.
Never used Siri, ever.
Having read Apple's disclaimer, I just do not feel comfortable giving my phone permission to listen to me at all times, that my voice will be recorded, analyzed and identified in some foreign server. Too many shameful and/or illegal practices in years past from State and non-State.
Is there not an element of "always on" or "always listening" with the Hey Siri command?siri only listens if/when you open it, and it only analyzes what you ask it.

I understand, but when you replied here, it was to @Cubytus who specifically mentioned his hesitation at giving his phone said permissions.'hey siri" works on the iphone, not the mac...
