Actually used it once when I just HAD to listen to something, another time browsing the internet on a long journey home I realised my favourite band had released a new album/EP. Of course iTunes didn't have it

yeah i use itunes..i buy like 1/3 music a month sometimes not at all in a month..some podcast also check out whats good top hits and check out/find old songs ect..this is when im dead bored at work might aswell buy a song or two getting paid for it any ways :D..but yeah i use it about 30% of the time

I use it almost exclusively to get my music. I only sync my phone about once a month. The rest of the time I download everything over wifi.

I use it for podcasts, and also for itunes U(niversity)- the latter of which I think doesn't get the recognition it deserves- lots of good stuff in there if you poke around a little.

if i buy music from itunes i buy it from my phone, because i know for a fact that if i have to restore and i hadnt transfered purchases i know the iphone itunes will let you buy it again for free.

Through all three generations of phones I think I've used iTunes 3-4 times. Once I recall it was because our 35+ soccer league team actually won a game (our first) so I had to download "We Are the Champions" in a bit of sarcastic humor. Of course, I have this song on multiple albums at home, but needed it right then!

The others were probably for similar reasons. When buying music in general, I almost always use Amazon.

Sometimes when I'm with friends we think of an artist and we will sample said artist's music on the app. I would say 1 in every 15 samples I end up purchasing the song from the phone.
