I've always thought the iPhone was tiny for most of the things it does. It, however, is the perfect size FOR A PHONE.

The iPad is the perfect size...for an iPad. A pocket knife looks smaller than a machete, but they are two different tools and really should not be compared.

I purchased the original iPhone on release day back in 2007. Since then, I've probably done 40% or so of my web surfing on it. Saturday I bought an iPad for my father, who is currently in town visiting. After helping him set up email (damn you charter for being such a pain in the ass to work with), I went to look up some settings using my iPhone. It seemed so small and useless. After 2.5 years of using is extensively, I was thoroughly amazed at how cramped web surfing felt after using the iPad for 10 minutes.

Can't wait for my 3G version to arrive... on a plus side, my wife was so blown away by it she's going to go get one too.

My guy friend put his iPhone next to my iPad and we both laughed because his iPhone looked sooooo tiny compared to my "gigantic" iPad lol

Totally agree. :D
The scrolling in iPad Safari is even more fluid than on the 3GS. It really is, multitouch perfected.

Going from the iPad to a first-gen or 3G iPhone, must be painful now.

I've gotten used to the larger keyboard on the iPad. Now I'm getting the buttons on the iPhone's keyboard confused with the iPad's. The delete key, for example, is in a different place and I continue to hit that instead of the shift key.

Seriously! I neglected my iPhone yesterday after getting my iPad, and when I went to use it today I couldn't handle the keyboard size OR the speed of it (I have the 3G). Can't wait for this new iPhone to come out so I can get an experience as zippy as the ipad's!

The beauty of the iPhone is that it is always with me, because of it's size and being a phone I never leave it behind. I can't say that about my iPad. I just cannot imagine taking my iPad to the mall.

However I do agree that the iPhone does look and feel small now.
