Ridiculous if no Apple calculator. Steve Jobs did not like the look of the calculator on the early iPads, so the app was not allowed. “Sacred cow” situation?

Regardless, I will be buying the iPad 9 very soon.

Didn't even occur to me until noticing this thread that iPad OS didn't include a calculator! (That's how often I've felt the need to use one on an iPad, I guess).

I still keep my trusty HP 32S calculator on my desk. That's what I use if I need to calculate something. In fact, I have one at my office on my desk there, and one at home.

Where can I find a list of the apps that come standard with iOS 15? The Apple site is emphasizing new things and changes but I don't seem to find a basic listing of the apps that the OS always includes.

As for the weather app, at least theirs a widget. Gimme a calculator widget.

PCalc is really excellent. I recently had some questions regarding some settings, and the developer responded to me quicker than my friends respond to my texts.
