Yes, also works well but with no ads as a widget. As per other comments, Apple was really negligent in not providing a default one with the OS.

Apple's Craig Federighi, in an interview, said something along the lines of, "When we can do it justice to the platform, we will add it."
Meaning they are not going to add it.
Apple added it to the watch. It is almost unusable on that platform. It is dumb; that and weather should be core apps on iPad. The Mac has one, and it isn't "Justice to the platform."

If you need simple calculations the spotlight is fine for that. Or even ask Siri. Or get PCalc.
At this point, I just pull out my phone so I don't have to have a calculator app on my iPad. Though PCalc is nice, especially the widget.
