Way too many paranoid people around here... First off, you can't trade in an Unlocked iPhone unless you have an AT&T phone number. At least, not at my Apple Store anyway. They always have you verify your phone number. In other words, if your iPhone is U/L'd on T-Mobile, you were screwed any way. Deal with it. If you have AT&T or an iPod Touch, I doubt Apple really cares. I've heard people that have said their phone is J/B'd, but with AT&T. If it's a hardware issue, they'd exchange it and say, "This one isn't Jailbroken, though." Come on. Apple's a cool company for the most part. (Or those employees didn't really care and just restored it after to cover their tracks.) If Apple wants to know that my iPhone is J/B'd, let them. It's already a year out of warranty, so I don't really care. Only thing that concerns me is the speakers blowing out, and if they did that, I'd just get the G1, and Apple would lose a customer. Either way, it's a Lose-Lose situation for them, so they'll probably just leave it alone, since they're still selling units.
(Sorry about the rant. I'm just tired of all these insane paranoid people.
