What did you use to jailbreak? Initially, I used jailbreakme on a VZ iPhone 4 running OS 4.2.8 and it was completely buggy. Basically, unusable. They say it's compatible but it's not. I had to restore and do it over again with pwnage tool and now it works fine. I'm running some Winterboard stuff and my phone really hasn't slowed down whatsoever.

I'm using the updated jbme.com on my VZ iP4 4.2.8 and it is no longer buggy at all. The reason my battery life is diminished is probably because I haven't stopped tweaking it since Monday non stop lol.:p:cool:

They must have fixed it, then. Literally just last week I tried to jb that way and my phone was so bogged that I couldn't even use it. It started rebooting on its own and then it completely jammed up. I had to wipe the whole thing and restore it. Scary experience... I thought I ruined my phone! Thankfully it was fine after the restore and now it's jb's correctly.

No slowdown at all on my Att iphone4.

Everything is quick and the features that are available after the jailbreak are outstanding. I shoulda done it a year ago...

I used jailbreakme by the way.

I have no slowdown and no diminishment in battery life at all. However, I just have Lockinfo, biteSMS, Sbsettings, RemoveBG and Unrestrictor installed.

I've been un-jailbroken for several months (got a WiMax wifi hotspot for my iPad and MBA, so I haven't needed MyWi) but I just jailbroke again for the heck of it with jailbreakme.com. I installed WinterBoard and SBSettings, but the slowdown was annoying enough that I removed WinterBoard within about 24 hours. Even without WinterBoard, though, it's still slower than un-jailbroken. The difference isn't tremendous by any means, and most people probably wouldn't even notice, but I certainly do. OTOH, I haven't noticed any slowdowns or lag with my iPad 2, although I never installed WinterBoard on it ...
