I'm in an area of Cambridge that has HSDPA and 3G from O2 - but the signal is rubbish - ranges from 1 to 5 and never stays on any strength long. Sometimes even reverts back to non-3G. Download speeds on O2 3G are poor too - they need to get this network sorted out.

ok, the guy in the o2 shop told me that they've still got a backlog of manual forms to get put onto computer and that my 3g should get automatically switched on by Wednesday latest. It should solve the voicemail issue I've been having also. He have me a special iPhone helpline number that I will be able to call if I don't get connected properly on Wednesday...
