Thanks @Oridus it must just be some sort of interaction bug. It's minor, maybe it gets fixed in 16.1.

16.1 Beta on iPhone 14 Pro Max (1TB)... I just checked mine and I only get haptic feedback when shutting off. No haptic when turning on and no sound at all shutting down or turning on. Not that big a deal. Not blind, but it would be nice to have. Bug?
