Does the iPad Pro keyboard really not lay flat for some people?

Makes me worried about buying it.

I had my first one replaced for not laying flat and general unresponsive keys. Now my second one works seemingly fine but the magnet on it is very weak, so picking up and closing the keyboard can be a little more cumbersome.
