I always seem to end up buying a mac on a OS X "dot 2" release. Mac Mini on 10.4.2 and Mac Book Pro on 10.5.2... so this will be another mac mini on 10.6.2 i reckon!

I got screwed I think

I bought a new Mac Mini 3 weeks ago for my HTPC and I was going to buy and external bluray player for it. Now it looks like BluRay may be coming to Mac. Besides waiting to find out what happens, should I be trying to sell the mini before the new ones come out so it doesnt lose value for being the "last generation model?" Or do you think it would be possible to buy a bluray drive and stick it in the mini if they do announce it? I know I need to just get used to getting screwed by Apple and just suck it up.

Apple will charge astronomical price for built-in Blu-Ray so use external one or install one yourself

It's going to be Arrandale and they will wait til profit margins on the chips are very favorable.

There might be some minor updates/upgrades for the Mini, maybe a small bump up of their specs. Nothing to be too concerned over though. Shame the Apple website is down, because if it wasn't it might say something about it if it was big enough...
