For what it's worth (I know, not much), I was a bit confused by Applejuiced's tone in this thread. When I read his first post in the thread, I thought I missed something. Re-read the OP. Never did figure out the undercurrent of anger. Oh, well.
AJ wasn't angry. He was just relating facts as he saw them. He is direct (blunt) and economical in his choice of words and that can often be interpreted as anger or an attack if you are so inclined to believe. For what it's worth (I know, not much), I was a bit confused by Applejuiced's tone in this thread. You'll know right away if he's actually angry. You probably don't want to be there when that happens though.
My wife is the same so I recognize it when I see it in others.
He's got no issues with the OP.
Go ahead and send me that dollar since you've still somehow got it stuck so deep in your brain that my post had anything to do with the money. I'll PM you with my paypal address.Pretty much
No probs with the op.
I'm just straight forward and blunt at times.
I'd pay for the op's update if that works for him and makes him happy. Not really any reason to argue about anything, just stated my thoughts on jb app devs.
Without them us and even Apple would be out in the cold.
They brought lots of innovation and influence on the iPhone since the original jb iPhone with installer.app and going forward...

I can't justify any of the terrible posts and comments I've made here myself (and there are a lot), but I can try to explain myself. It's nice of you to stand up for both sides but you may want to take a look back at his post history before justifying his post. He has quite the knack for demeaning new members and starting arguments for no reason.
Sounds good to me!I can't justify any of the terrible posts and comments I've made here myself (and there are a lot), but I can try to explain myself.
That's what I was doing there. Explaining. Not defending or justifying. Just as I was trying to explain to him your side of the matter in earlier posts.
That's my only part in this and I will just leave it at that.
It is treating me VERY well. It's true that I have mainly 4G at home and that if I intend to do anything intensive with my phone I need to turn WiFi on. But, outside the house I have fast LTE everywhere. How's the new phone/carrier treating you?![]()

I even did a 4G speed test on purpose a week ago and it was faster than Sprint's LTE in the same location!
I'm comfortable with having to eat WiFi at home when the rest of the time I'm on fast LTE.
Not that I NEED it to be fast, but it's there. Unlike Sprint, where I never knew if I'd have it from place to place.
And phone calls, our most important use of our phones are solid now. No more issues.
Overall, I am extremely happy with switching.
LOL! Boonies! No, no. No boonies here. You must really be in the boonies. Wifi is definitely sufficient especially with the major carriers activating wifi calling. 4G isn't all that bad either. Go back a few years and that was the fastest we had.
I've been trying to get my girlfriend away from Sprint but they're still demanding she turn in her phone AND pay several hundred dollars to get off the iPhone for Life contract she's on. They don't even offer that one anymore.
It would have happened this past week but the AT&T store we chose didn't have the model she wanted and she didn't want to spend the day chasing phones after we had spent too long in the carrier stores figuring out all the cancellation/transfer details.
well here is my take on that and its this. When ever you get a new tweak payed or free it doent last long. Either it cant be updated for a new firmware, or the developI should have clarified from the start that I have NO issue paying for a good tweak and I'm happy to shell out a buck for Shortcuts.
It just seemed strange that the package popped up in my upgrades tab as an "Available Update" then refused to update unless I paid rather than putting out a premium/lite package combo.
**** Edited thread title to better illustrate my issue
It's nice of you to stand up for both sides but you may want to take a look back at his post history before justifying his post. He has quite the knack for demeaning new members and starting arguments for no reason.
Manners and tact are really pretty simple concepts to grasp. I think they're pretty essential when you're dealing with people you don't know and language barriers to boot. I would think he'd have a hold of that with how long he's been a member here.
All that aside, I'm surprised this thread hasn't been wastelanded yet. Whole lot of useless bickering after the issue was resolved.
My story on a dev is a little different. When iOS 7 rolled out he updated the alarm clock app of his that I use every night for my bedside clock.I understand the OP's pain.
Even the iTunes app store has pulled this shenanigans. I download an app (paid or free) and down the road the app is "updated" and either features are removed and/or ads are inserted requiring a purchase for removal. I have approximately 90 or so apps that I won't update because of this. I used to confuse 'update' with 'upgrade'. I have learned many times it simply isn't.
Oh yeah. This is something I would have done back then if it had been available.^
Another workaround is to download the app again via iTunes on your 6.1.3 iPhone. Delete it from your computer's iTunes and then sync your iPhone using the iTunes dropdown menu: File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. This will then redownload the older version into your computer's iTunes allowing you to then download that version on any other iDevice. Of course it'll always have that update badge in your iTunes (both computer and iPhone).
For example, I always thought the CAMERA+ app was better back when it was available with iOS4. I have an iPhone 4 with iOS4.2.6
I downloaded CAMERA+ on this iPhone (after the popup window declaring there is a compatible version for me- having purchased it already in the past). It is then downloaded with the iOS 7.0 version on my computer deleted.
After transferring as described above the app back into my iTunes on my Mac I now have that lower version available for my iPhone6S. (Even the older apps icon transfers over.)
Here is that app (blending well on my iPhone6S with the jailbroken theme, 'IOS 6 COMPLETE":

Again, this is the iOS4 version of CAMERA+ running now on a 9.0.2 iPhone, working flawlessly I might add.
