the heat kills the battery
don’t use a mfm labeled charger because it charges at 15w which generates more heat. a magnetic (not made for MagSafe) charger would be a lot better
Both Mrs Cram and I have 4 year old iPhone 11s and around a year and a half ago, we bought a pair of wireless charging pads. She didn't get on with hers so continued to use a cable whereas I've been charging mine wirelessly ever since. Her battery is fine but mine is knackered. It can be 100% in the morning, barely been used and 50% by lunchtime. If I actually use it, the battery drops alarmingly. Just checked and the charger charges at 15W!

Both Mrs Pointandshootpro and myself have been using wireless charging since we purchased our 11's. Our batteries were fine in our 11's for 2 years, and now after a year and a half with our 13's using 99 perecnt wireless charing they are fine now still. There is more than likely other reasons why peoples battery crap the bed and NOT Wireless charging.

We all know that heat is not good for batteries. When I had my 13PM, some mornings I would pick it up and it would be very warm. Other mornings barely warm. It was never cold or room temperature. My battery was still at 100% when I traded it I, a year later for the 14PM. There is really no telling when your battery will go, that is clear from this forum.

My 14PM has only been charged via the cable. It only takes me a second to plug it in.

It is good we all have a choice.
