How about the new ones announced today? They're pretty nice. I still can't stand Windows though...

I don’t see the hardware today really making a big difference if one is weighing this decision. The previous Surface Pro hardware was already pretty nice. IMO, the Surface Pro is a better laptop style device than tablet, primarily due to Windows and the new Pro X is a nicer tablet but is still hampered by the tablet software experience of Windows.

I found the new Surface Laptops to be the most impressive..what I wish Apple did with the MBA line.

Enough for me to try. With Concepts and possibly Adobe Fresco (Depending on Adobe and their over priced subscriptions), the Surface Pro X could be the iPad Pro replacement I want for art (which negates the need for a Wacom tablet and all that goes with that).

It's more the pen and art software than anything else.

I think the pro x lost me with arm chip. Strictly software concerns mostly.

EDIT: Found out more about Arm and Adobe Fresco. No thanks to Fresco and probably nada on the Pro X.

Back to the drawing board then (maybe literally for me too).
