Not necessarily. My white spots appeared a couple of weeks out of 1 year warranty on my 2018 pro so Apple wouldn’t help and I wasn’t paying another £500 to replace screen in a device I paid over a grand for just to have it working effectively for a year.
2018 or 2017 Pro?

I wasn't aware 2018/2020 Pros were affected by white spot.

No. I’m out of warranty, but i tried when it was and they said that the functionalty of the ipad is not affected.... that’s it. I’m upset because i’ve wanted to change my battery but i can’t because of this bent issue.
Your signature details show that you have 4 Apple products with serious problems. I am not disputing the truth of your claims. So why do you keep giving Apple your money?

The issues in the 10.5 pro developed quite some time after. So it's still early to tell if they will develop on the air 3 to a significant extend like they did on the 10.5 pro... (and I see some people coming as every time saying they have no issues in their 10.5 pro after years, but nobody knows for sure how many are affected).
Having said that, do speakers matter to you? Because if they do, the 11 pro could be worth it even just for that reason for youtube watching. I think the 11 pro is a device that will last more than the air 3 and above all will hold its value more. There are rumors that the air 4 is adopting the 11 pro design, so in the future the air 3 might not be worth much in terms of resale value, while the 11 pro (with its narrow bezels, usb c and pencil 2 support) will hold much more value, even if it costs more...

Because of the ecosystem....still wait for Samsung...

Man this sucks! When did you try? I am puzzled that they refused to repair it when it was in warranty. It does not matter if the functionality is affected or not. If it is in warranty and it was their fault that is bent they should have repaired it.

How did it got bend?

Still bent after 2,5 years. I put a case on it. Without case and if it's hot it continues to bend. They refused because there is no issue. Manufacturer sucks. Is the same shi**y material used on Iphone 6. A couple of years ago, i had an Iphone 6 bent at the volume buttons (too hot). None of this products suffered from shocks. This is the real Apple after Steve Jobs.

L.E Just returned my Ipad Pro 2020 11' slightly bent ! I'm out of this s*it. I'm feed up.
