Don't know what to do..

Hi guys!

So three days ago I bought a MacBook Pro 15" 2019 with the i9 and 560X and happy with it. Now I read everywhere that there will be a new macbook coming this fall with the release of macOS Catalina.

I can still return this macbook and wait 3 months for the new model, but that means I will be 3 months without a laptop. Now school starts in September and I have old MacBook Pro 13 2011 laying around I can use till then but I don't know if I should return this one and wait for the new macbook. How much better will it be besides the fullscreen 16"?

If you're comfortable with paying more than you did for your current laptop (because the 16" will definitely cost more) then personally I'd return it and wait. Although I'm not sure how certain we can be that the rumors of the device releasing this year are accurate.

There's always something new coming. If you need it then buy it. If you don't need it then wait.
