I think this is a question that really only the person asking it can answer. Everyone has a different tolerance for bugs and what is acceptable. You have to weigh that against your own desire to play with new features. It's a trade off, one that I am willing to make nearly every year.

But I don't do work on my phone, or really on any of my personal devices. So at the end of the day it doesn't really matter to me. They have all been stable "enough" from Beta 1. But YMMV and I don't think taking advice from others is the way to go here. It is a very personal decision.

Well I'm upgrading now. I'm at work and have the freedom to downgrade back to 9.3.3 if I please. I don't have a bunch of apps that will affect it so it should be a smooth update. If it doesn't or if I notice any bugs, I'll be sure to post. I've read on here that someone else with the Air had a horrible experience, but like you said blasto, it's all based on what one can tolerate and what they have on their device.

On my 6s+, zero complaints.

So I have been debating whether to use iOS 10 Public Beta on my daily. I have done non-approved Dev betas in the past and some were great and some caused a bunch of issues. Is the Public Beta stable enough to run on a daily iPhone 6? I don't mind minor glitches occasional crashes is ok but major usability would drive me crazy.

Any insight would be much appreciated!

Also if you downgrade back do you lose all your data on your phone? I remember when I would do that before all saved data while using the beta was lost because you had to revert back using an older back up before moving to the Beta.

It was worth it for me because I generally have my device with me at work plugged in so for about %80 of the day, my phone is near a cord to charge it up. I haven't really looked to see if it was draining my battery, doesn't seem to have but haven't paid attention to that much.

I do like the new notifications and the new lock screen though. If you are the type of person that doesn't handle little glitches well, then don't do it and if you don't have an easy way to charge your device up then don't try it.

Seems quite smooth for me on an iPhone 6 so far. Haven't run into compatibility issues yet. The "press home to open" thing is a little annoying though. I wish that could be a toggled option. I understand the 6s Touch ID is super fast and it helps them, but it's not something I want on my regular iPhone 6.

How does it work with the Apple Watch? Heard a few complaints about notifications not coming through but not sure how widespread that bug is.

Well everyone I made the leap to install this on my daily and its fairly stable but honestly iOS 10 is a bit of a disappointment and I thought that way when I watched the WWDC. Its very lack luster and seems to include a bunch of flashy gimmick features. Nothing here is truly useful. 13 year olds are going to love the new iMessage but it just seems stupid to me. Nothing here seems to be significant enough for me to deal even the little amount of bugs I am experiencing. I will give it a try for 24 hours and then probably downgrade back.
