same with those damn "iFart" apps, those are so dumb.

It's these apps that make the bread. They are cheap, so people figure why not, forums start talking about them. Then more people think a buck is not that much for something silly and before you know it these people are making thousands weekly. It's a good easy market to be in.

However, farts are more of an innocent elementary school type of humor that is universal for every living human. This app takes it to the next level and is not so innocent. If you heard an 8 year-old say "you farted. haha," you would laugh. But, if you heard an 8 year-old call another kid a "douchebag," it wouldn't be so humorous. Additionally, although the insult is not gender-specific, it references gender-specific hygiene. That, is no so nice. What's next; the c*nt-meter?

Where's KRAPPS? I'm sure he has an opinion about this one.

Sorry about the delay ... KRAPPS has been hard at work making all these "lemon" apps in "lemonade" ... so we decided to take the weekend off.

Ahhhh yes, DoucheMeter ... we did see this come across the New App RSS feed and starred it for a future article topic. Fist thought that came into our heads ... hmmmm, iFarts = PG13 .... DoucheMeter = R ... and from what we can recall, probably the only "R-rated" title in the App Store. Granted, there are more "R" rated icons and app splash screens than DoucheMeter, but as far as names, DM takes the cake so far. Yes, and of course its totally silly and rude ... so the perfect candidate for KRAPPS

Yeah, it's totally not seen as a PG word here.
Case in point:
I few weeks back a morning TV host here in NZ was being a bit of a douchebag. So I sent him an email basically telling him so while I was watching and eating my cereal.

A few minutes later he read out the letter on live TV (including the "Douchebags" I had sprinkled through it), and basically apologised for being a douchebag.

It's totally awesome being in a country where people on TV personally apologise to you for being a douchebag while you eat your cereal.

I'm glad I stumbled upon this thread. The whining inspired me to buy the app. I'll use it as a Douche Meter most of the time but the Cu#* Meter as suggested above will be used for sure.
