Downgrade from IOS 9.1

Unfortunately there's no jailbreak for 9.1 that I am aware of.
Oops sorry about that, it is an iPad 2! So it is possible on the iPad 2? (GSM model)
And I thought if you had SHSH blobs it doesn't matter if they are signing it or not.
iPhone 4s and below and iPad 2 and below is what I've heard. 32 bit devices. There seems to be an opening now for the iPhone 5 but it's early yet.
Going to your second question. If all it took was blobs my iPhone 5 would be back on iOS 6.1 right now. The problem is Apple introduced AP Ticket in iOS 7 (newer authentication) and blobs were no longer used. As of iOS 8 Apple moved to an entirely different thing and blobs are now completely irrelevant except for lower versions of iOS.
That said, part of the reason 32bit devices were still able to downgrade is because of a boot rom exploit that Apple did not fix until the iPhone 5. But that exploit has been fixed with the 5 which is why it's taken so long for there to even be a mention that downgrading on the 5 (let alone the 5s and above) is possible.
Oh ok damn. I upgraded to 9.1 just to give it a try thinking I could downgrade with SHSH blobs, my mistake. Where can I find how to do this boot rom exploit? Do I need to be jailbroken?
That was true back in the day all the way up to the iphone 4 with devices that had the limera1n vulnerability.
Then newer hardware and shsh blobs checks came into place...

Don't worry I'm in the same boat as you are. I upgraded on accident and now I'm sitting on a non JB phone until the 9.1 is broken. TaiG has been working hard and seems they are close to breaking 9.1 but nothing is official yet from their Twitter account.
In my opinion, 9.01 jailbreak was the worst. I had so many problems with the Pangu jailbreak from the BLoD, tweaks not working properly, tweaks creating conflicts with my apple watch, battery drain, apps updating improperly or slowly, etc that I finally just upgraded to 9.1 so my phone can work properly again. I hope the new jailbreak will not have any bugs.
I will agree that it was a bit rougher than most.
However, I've suffered no worse affects than any previous jailbreak.
I did not get BLoD. I don't have it now. I don't have random reboots. I did not have any issues with Cydia Substrate updates and no issues updating Pangu. Battery is the same as it was before I jailbroke and I haven't had any issues with app updates.
The ONLY issues I've had has stemmed from standard tweak incompatibility and waiting on devs to update tweaks.
However, and I think this may be part of the issue as to why others have had so many problems, I restored as new before I jailbroke. Then I restored from backup.
I think a lot of people who had/have problems did not restore as new and simply jailbroke. On the other hand, I did do this with my wife's iPhone and she has reported no problems.
Lastly, a lot of people seem to have either forgotten about Mobile Substrate Safe Mode or were unaware of it. There seems to have been (and still seems to be) a lot of unnecessary restores because people did not use Volume Up on boot to get to Safe Mode and uninstall the offending tweak.
And it's that last thing that seems to me to have been the biggest problem of the whole thing. For whatever reason, common sense went out the window on this jailbreak.
Please note that I am not speaking any of this to you or about you. I'm just being general in nature about what I've observed.

It's always the JB's fault when people install a bunch of junk that are buggy or not even compatible for their device or ios version.
Then their phone runs like crap and battery drains within a few hours
But instead of doing the legwork, research and trial and error they blame it on the JB itself offcourse.
Guess what, I'm using the same JB by Pangu on 9.0.2 and don't have any BLoD issues or power drain or crashes.
Did I install stuff that caused issues or where not performing well? Yes.
I isolated them, removed them or used other newer, compatible or better written hacks and have no issues at all so far.
JB is not for everyone though.
For some people they're better off staying stock.

Dude stop. Every time I read your post, it's always the same tone. Jailbreak isn't for everyone and being condecending in your own special way. Yes I get it that it's not for everyone but you can't always be blame it on the user. Just because you don't experience any problems doesn't mean it's a perfect world for everyone else.
I've been jailbreaking since the 3GS and I've always been able to correct any problem except this JB.
And yes, I did try to isolate the tweaks and still had the same problem. For example, I removed every tweak and my apple watch would still not sync with my iPhone's Activity app.
There are a number of other problems that I encountered and many I was able to fix but others I couldn't.
Anyway, get off your high horse and think of something new to post.

Hey up to you. If personal insults make you feel better about your inability to figure things out when it comes to jb then go for it.
