Plenty of issues here on beta 13.1. How do I downgrade to 13.0 b8?

You have to use iTunes or macOS (if you're on the macOS beta) to downgrade to either beta 8 or iOS 12. Make sure you have a 13.0 backup if you don't want to lose your data.

I will like to downgrade to IOS 13 beta 8, I only have a backup in Icloud, how can I downgrade to beta 8, any suggestions appreciated

I just downgraded to DB 8 from 13.1
Downloaded IPSW and with CMD + Check for Update (via iTunes on macOS Mojave) I downgraded with retaining all my settings and content. No need to use a backup.

Can you do step by step guide for us stupid people?

Thanks mate. Will do now.

B8 worked so much better for me than 13.1.

It through me off when I did that. It was as if I never upgraded to 13.1. I have never had that happen before when downgrading software. It usually makes me go through the setup process and then restore from backup.

Download IPSW from here: https://www.theiphonewiki.com/wiki/Beta_Firmware/iPhone/13.x

Connect iPhone to your Mac with iTunes. Hold CMD and click on Check for Update. Select the IPSW.
Has anyone got this to work? When I try it with the most recent version of Mojave, I get "A software update is required to update your iPhone". I'm running the current version of iTunes as well. iPhone 7 Plus looking to downgrade to pb8

This "shortcut method" does not always work, sometimes it can erase or mess something up, which is where a backup would come in.

If I reset the phone and restore from an iOS 13 backup in the icloud will it downgrade to ios 13 beta? has anyone tried this?

No, erasing and restoring backups from an earlier version doesn't downgrade the OS. You have to use a computer to downgrade.

I'm trying to downgrade from PB 13.1 to PB7 (?) 13.0 using High Sierra. Using Cmd and Check for Update didn't work so I tried Alt and Check for Update. This looked to be working as I was able to select the already downloaded IPSW, however I then got this error. Could this be because I need to install Xcode? If so, which can I use on High Sierra? Or is it impossible to downgrade now? I only went to 13.1 because Automations was said to be working, however it still won't let me automatically switch wifi off when I leave home and I miss the share sheet options that were present on previous beta so would like to downgrade.

TIA

Install latest Xcode on Mojave. Otherwise use Catalina Beta if you have that running.

I downloaded XCode. Had it open. Clicked on Option/Update, selected the ipsw, it attempted to Install/Download, and then it gave a message saying it wasn’t currently available from the software update server or something like that. Can’t remember exact wording. Maybe I didn’t open the ipsw with Xcode the correct way?

You don’t use Xcode. The update process is via iTunes. Hold the option key and click on Check for Update, select IPSW and wait.

He’s not saying that he’s using Xcode to do the updating, just that it is open i the background. The same is happening to me, even when Xcode is downloaded and running in the background while I’m doing the rest in iTunes… :/

Then why does this message keep coming up? Is the update contained within the ipsw or is that just something that is like a conduit to connect to something on a server which is no longer available?
